If you've been wondering why it is that there is a page marked "beauty" and why on the main page that's the first thing you see - well, it seems that the largest amount of traffic I currently get comes from search engines where people are looking for a pornographic website. Yes, that's right, there's a website that has a similar name structure to mine, and people have been mistakingly coming to my sight.

I think people, as a whole, will settle for lesser things if they can't get the things they really, deeply, want. Much like Maslow's heirarchy of needs, I think people long for a type of intimacy that they don't have words for, when they can't get that, they'll settle for shallow intimacies, then physical intimacies, then faux physical encounters (pornography), and on and on they go down a list till they can get something - anything.

I might not know you, or what you are about, but I know what it's like to settle. Don't be that guy (or girl). Fight for what you really want. It's hard - I know. But you keep on going after the beautiful things and by the time you can much farther down your road you'll see, even if you didn't get what you wanted, you may just get what you hoped for.

And I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
